Comic-Con 2016 kicked off Thursday in San Diego and while many people are here for the show and movie panels, there’s plenty to see and do inside and outside the convention center.
The entire Gaslamp district of downtown San Diego transforms into a pop culture paradise for four days complete with rides, attractions, and places where you can pick up some free swag.
Even if you don’t have a ticket to Comic-Con, there’s still plenty to see and do. Here’s the best of what we’ve seen at this year’s convention.

Fans can head to Braavos and get their face added to the Hall of Faces at a “Game of Thrones” exhibit across from the Omni Hotel.
Props from the show, like Arya’s sword needle are on display.
And you can even get the chance to rule the seven kingdoms yourself by sitting atop the Iron Throne.
